Probably the worst is their screen layout - a horrible example of poor design and wasted space. New button to flip between original and edited views "Stop" icon changed to a self-labeled "Clear Selection" button Although the UI is greatly improved - some choices are so glaringly bad that one wonders what they are smoking. In four years and as many versions it is all over the place and they still can't get it right. Save | CancelĪfter playing around with this app and comparing this version to earlier ones I must say I am disappointed in their UI. No it doesn't work magic, but it does make ordinary looking images that may have any number of blemishes/streaks/lost colour/creases etc etc look a lot crisper and cleaner.

I have often considered paying for the latest version, but it has been that hassle free I have never had any real headache using it.

A bit of searching however took me to a German website where you can download Inpaint so this is one of the GOTD giveaways that you might have a chance of getting it back if you lose it through system crash/format/upgrade of hardware etc. In fact I did at one time "lose" my original version (that I had got from GOTD) when I upgraded my PC. No big thing though I have it already as I said. Unfortunately I am unable to download this version for some reason, it begins to download then closes the link. Many old photos have got themselves damaged, but with a bit of effort, it is reasonably simple to have the photos looking really great again. This is a top program, I use it a lot, especially touching up old photos which I do a fair bit of.
